Biography
I grew up in Belgium. After I graduated high school, I came to the US as a Rotary exchange student for a year. I then went back to Belgium to pursue a degree in translation from Russian and Spanish to French. I lived in Russia for a year and a half, first as part of my university exchange program and then I decided to stay a while longer to get a better understanding of the culture and the language. I went back to Belgium to pursue a master's degree in multilingual communication (French, English, Russian, Spanish) with a minor in international relations. I graduated in June 2018, came back to the US for a couple of months, backpacked in South America for another couple of months, and worked in a law firm in Luxembourg. I am now working on my Ph.D. in order to work in academia in the future.
