Scott Thomson

Biography

Scott is excited to join the College of Media and Communication to support a long tradition of successful forensics competition at TTU.  He has extensive experience in forensics, starting as a high school student and then at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.  He was a successful competitor which he attributes to his coaches' emphasize on basic skills like quality delivery, strategic organization and extensive research.  Scott is confident a similar focus will result in continued success for the Red Raiders.  Prior to arriving in Lubbock Scott directed forensics programs at Marist College and Ithaca College.  In his free time, he enjoys family and travel.  They are looking forward to exploring Texas after living in New York for the past 25 years.
