Twist of Fate Sets Winds of Change in Motion: Research Flourishes in Tornado's Wake

Thirty-five years ago, a tornado ripped through Lubbock, Texas, killing 26 people. From the destruction emerged Texas Tech University's Wind Science and Engineering Research Center, one of the nation's foremost centers for the study of wind damage and mitigation.
