WEEK
NOVEMBER 7 - NOVEMBER 12
First-Gen Week celebrates, empowers, and engages the First-Gen Red Raider community. Over the course of the week students, faculty, and staff will have the opportunity to engage in events that create a culture of awareness and understanding of the First-Gen college student experience.
About 25% of college students at Texas Tech University identify as First-Gen students. This celebration aims to recognize the students, faculty and staff who contribute to the success of First-Gen students.
First-Gen Week coincides with the national First-Generation College Celebration Day on November 8th.
