When does Texas Tech expect to achieve full HSI status?

TTU HSI Timeline:

Fall 2017 20th Class Day – TTU reports enrollment numbers for Fall 2017; if student enrollment is at least 25% Hispanic, ability to apply for non-Title III and non-Title V DOE HSI grants

Jan. 2018 – TTU submits Title III and Title V Eligibility Application to DOE for fiscal year 2018

May 2018 – DOE notification of designation as an Eligible Institution

Fall 2018 20th Class Day – TTU reports enrollment numbers for Fall 2018

Jan. 2019 – TTU submits Title III and Title V Eligibility Application to DOE for fiscal year 2019

May 2019 - DOE notification of designation as an Eligible Institution (based on Fall 2017 enrollment)

May 2019 – Applications for DOE grants under Title III and Title V submitted for 2019-2020 school year

TTU MUST have the Title III and Title V waiver application approved to proceed with any grants under HSI.
