Transportation
Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport offers nonstop service to Dallas (DFW
and Love Field), Austin, Houston (Intercontinental and Hobby), Denver, Phoenix and
Las Vegas via American Airlines, Southwest Airlines and United Airlines. Most major
U.S. cities can be reached with a single connecting flight through one of these hubs.
The drive from the airport to the Texas Tech campus is approximately 10 minutes.
Rideshare services, including Uber and Lyft, as well as several car rental companies,
are available at the airport. Some local hotels also provide complimentary airport
shuttle service. Please check with your hotel directly regarding availability.
