Update Regarding Class Modalities

How do I know how my class is being taught in Fall 2020?

You have received many emails from the President's Office as well as the Registrar that explain changes that have been made to the method of course delivery and the location of classes. However, we know that you may still have questions. We have tried to break it down in the table below. If you still have questions, please feel free to reach out to your advisor.

Schedule Builder Location Code: Concise Schedule Campus Says: What does it Mean?
TLB Lubbock TTU Your course is face to face at the time, the day and the location indicated on your schedule.
TUO Other Texas Off Campus TTU Your course is face to face at the time, day, and location indicated on your schedule. However, it is not on the TTU campus. Your instructor will communicate with you where your class will meet.
TPD TTU Lubbock Online The course that was originally scheduled to meet face to face has been transitioned online. You should still expect to meet with your instructor during the scheduled time. However, it will be done via Zoom, Blackboard Collaborate, Skype or another platform indicated by your instructor. Again, check your communication from your instructor for specifics.
TDE Distance Electronic This course is fully online and will not require meeting face to face virtually or physically. You should log into Blackboard on the first day of classes for instruction and/or watch for an email from the course instructor.
TLB Hybrid This indicates some students may be physically in the classroom while others are joining virtually. Instructors will inform students about this process prior to the first day.

More information about the specific course modalities for Fall 2020 can be found on the TTU Commitment Page.
