Catherine E. Buscemi, Ph.D.

Instructional Technologist
Texas Tech University Online

Catherine is an Instructional Technologist with eLearning & Academic Partnerships. She is passionate about education and facilitating learning for a variety of learners—college students, staff members, and K-12 students enrolled in online courses. Her professional experience includes technical writing, editing, and training with a telecommunications company and with Continuing Education at the University of Texas at Austin. She also taught lower division Spanish language courses as a graduate student, and “Business Communication – Writing & Presentation Skills” at the McCombs School of Business during the last two years she lived in Austin. After living in Austin for 22 years, Catherine and her husband moved back to Lubbock to be closer to family.

A bona fide “foodie,” Catherine enjoys going out to eat, trying new restaurants, wine dinners at the Texas Tech Club, and is partial to Italian and Mexican food and Texas Barbeque. She also enjoys going to the movies, reading, and spending time with friends and family, including two dogs and two cats.
