Students: For assistance with sign-in problems, browser errors, and other technical difficulties, please contact IT Help Central at (806) 742-HELP, email them at ithelpcentral@ttu.edu, or visit the IT Help Central Website. If you encounter difficulties with the Blackboard course content or tools, please contact your instructor and if needed, the instructor can initiate a request for assistance with Blackboard Support to resolve the issue by emailing blackboard@ttu.edu or by calling (806) 742-5933.

Attention Blackboard Faculty

Fall 2021 Live Courses

On July 5, 2021, at 5:00 PM, all Fall 2021 live courses will be pushed to Blackboard.  After that time and as new courses are created in Banner, they will also be pushed into Blackboard; courses will not have to be requested.  You will be able to access your Fall 2021 courses at ttu.blackboard.com.

To request your courses be combined, copy and paste the table on the Request to Combine Blackboard Live Shells page and send it to blackboard@ttu.edu.

Blackboard Course Name Change

The TTU IT Division in coordination with eLearning, TLPDC, and other stakeholders will make changes to the Blackboard Learn Course Naming Convention to provide better identification between 1st Summer, 2nd Summer, and Intersessions courses, on Friday, May 28th, 2021 at 5:00 PM (CDT). No service interruption is expected. The naming convention will identify courses in the following manner:Examples of the New Naming Convention:

1st Summer Session:
Summer 2021 TTU Physical Geology Laboratory (GEOL-1101-301) 1st Summer Session

2nd Summer Session:
Summer 2021 TTU Fundamentals of Personal Financial Planning (PFP-5371-201) 2nd Summer Session

Summer 2021 TTU Adv Topics In Biology: Advanced Field Ecology: Scientific Writing II and III (BIOL-6301-080) Intersession

Full Term:
Summer 2021 Law Oil and Gas Law I (LAW-6311-D01) Full Term

NCAA Compliance

Compliant with NCAA requirements, athletic academic advisors have "observer" access in Blackboard for their student athletes. Observer access provides limited view-only course progress and performance information.
