For Spring 2022, eLearning will be offering several online workshops to help faculty with online course development.
The series includes:

Blackboard Basics – January 5, 2022

Blackboard Basics will discuss basic course navigation, the control panel, adding content, and communication tools.

Online Course Structure and Organization – January 19, 2022

This session will cover best practices for course structure and organization in the online classroom.

Blackboard Basics – February 2, 2022

Blackboard Basics will discuss basic course navigation, the control panel, adding content, and communication tools.

Accessibility Basics – February 16, 2022

This session will cover the basics of accessibility in online courses.

Keeping Online Students Engaged – March 9, 2022

During this session, we will provide basic strategies and tools for keeping your online students engaged.

Using PlayPosit for Student Engagement – April 6, 2022

Learn how to use PlayPosit to create engaging content for your students.

Feedback Fruits and Student Engagement – April 20, 2022

Learn how to use the Feedback Fruits suite of tools to develop and maintain engagement in your online classroom.

All sessions are from 2-3 p.m. You can sign up in advance for these training sessions, by visiting the events page.

The eLearning Instructional Design team, Accessibility team, and Blackboard Support team are here to support you as you design and deliver online instruction. Services include design consultations, training, accessibility help, assistance with video production, Blackboard support, and course quality certification.
