Inaugural eLearning Faculty Fellow Appointed

Texas Tech University Worldwide eLearning recently appointed Dr. Stephanie J. Jones as its inaugural eLearning Faculty Fellow. The position is intended to provide the
candidate with an opportunity to cultivate a research project, be involved as eLearning
develops new programs and serve as an advocate for online and distance education at
Texas Tech.
Dr. Jones is an Associate Professor and program coordinator for the Texas Tech University College of Education's online Ed.D., and online and onsite M.Ed. degrees in Higher Education. She received a doctorate degree in Higher Education from Texas Tech in 2006, and has been a faculty member since 2008. Her research interests include community colleges, distance learning, women in higher education, leadership and organizational change. She has 16 years of distance learning experience, with an extensive background in administration and program development.
The eLearning Faculty Fellow position is a nine-month appointment.
ABOUT WORLDWIDE ELEARNING
Texas Tech University Worldwide eLearning is a unit of the Office of the Provost dedicated to supporting students, faculty and staff in online and distance learning. It works with colleges and schools on campus to offer degree programs fully online, and aid in administering online, hybrid and web-supported classes.
