Welcome Leslie Cranford

By Joshua Blount, Editor

Texas Tech University eLearning & Academic Partnerships welcomes back alumna Leslie Cranford to the Red Raider community. With much of her experience in broadcast media and marketing, she was previously employed by Texas Tech for 16 years, four of which were in this department from 2002 to 2006. She returns to offer her expertise as the new Media Relations Coordinator for the eLearning Marketing Department.

Leslie graduated from Texas Tech with a double major in Telecommunications and Speech Communication. In addition to her experience with radio and television, Leslie has also cultivated skills in grammar and writing. In her current position Leslie coordinates largely with TTU K-12, but also helps the marketing team to publicize, advertise and get exposure for eLearning programs via social media, such as Facebook and Twitter. Leslie is also a large contributor to the TTU K-12 newsletter, "Wherever You Are", by both writing articles as well as organizing and formatting them.

Leslie has a deep appreciation for hearing student success stories and knowing that her support, as well as the support of eLearning & Academic Partnerships, is making a difference. Her work in spreading the word about the options available for learning is vital in helping students achieve their goals. eLearning & Academic Partnerships looks forward to the new vision she will bring to the university.
