Texas Tech University (TTU) is required to comply with state regulations when conducting activities in states other than the state of Texas. Regulation and requirements vary by state. However, TTU membership in the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA) allows TTU to conduct limited activities* within the NC-SARA member states indicated below. Other specific agreements allow Texas Tech to conduct 100% online learning activities to students in a few additional states. Please note the few states in which Texas Tech is not authorized to conduct any activities.
Complaints should be filed in the state where the student is receiving instruction, not in the state in which the student resides. For example, a student residing in Oklahoma but taking courses in Arkansas should file his/her compliant with the state contact for Arkansas. View a comprehensive list of complaint resolution contacts by state.
