Dr. Baehr's interests include content strategy, hypertext theory, online publishing, instructional design, and visual rhetoric. He is the author of Web Development: A Visual-Spatial Approach (2007), Writing for the Internet: A Guide to Real Communication in Virtual Space (2010), and The Agile Communicator: Principles and Practices in Technical Communication (2015, 2017, 2019). He currently serves as Vice President for the Society for Technical Communication and as Chief Examiner of the Certified Professional Technical Communicator (CPTC) program.
