Course Catalog

The University Catalog allows students to learn more about programs of study/majors, determine the courses needed for graduation, or compile a plan of study.  The course catalog is a list of all courses that have been, are currently, or will be offered at Texas Tech, with descriptions and all other course details.

Note: This is different than the schedule of classes, which lists class sections that have been scheduled for a specific term, along with rooms, times, instructors, and details as they have been assigned.

First-semester undergraduates will receive a complimentary printed catalog during Red Raider Orientation or from Undergraduate Admissions through September.

After September, students can purchase a catalog for $5 from the campus bookstore in the Student Union. Access to the online catalog is always free.

Visual Schedule Builder

Visual Schedule Builder (VSB) is an online self-serve tool to assist you in planning your academic schedules. It allows you to graphically view schedule options, choose desired courses, and eventually create a timetable based on the courses and times that work best for you. The VSB arranges selected courses into conflict-free timetable options and displays them in an easy-to-read weekly schedule.

• The VSB does NOT register you in courses, but helps you create an optimal course schedule from which you can then enroll in courses through Raiderlink.
• The Visual Schedule Builder is NOT meant to replace academic advising or degree audit. It does not check your course prerequisites, course restrictions, or your registration holds.
• You will meet with your advisor and register for classes during your scheduled RRO session. The information here is provided to help you prepare for advising and registration during your RRO session.

Raiderlink

Raiderlink is an intranet site available only to students, faculty, and staff, designed for easy access to University resources. Raiderlink provides access to registration, course schedule, financial aid, email, eLearning, Transportation & Parking Services, and much more. It is the one place to go for all your on campus needs.
