User Accounts & Portals

As you progress through the process of transition to Texas Tech, you may have noticed several terms being thrown around related to usernames, ID numbers and portals. We often get questions from admitted students having trouble logging in, most often about which login they need to use in which place.  We have gathered the following information to explain what each term means and when you should use it.

NOTE: It is easy to confuse similar-sounding things, so be careful.
