Vincent Geloso, Ph.D.
Post-Doctoral Research Associate
Vincent Geloso is a post-doctoral research associate at the Free Market Institute at Texas Tech University.
Dr. Geloso earned his B.A. in economics and politics at the University of Montreal and his M.S. and Ph.D. in economic history at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
In the past, he has served as an associate researcher at Montreal Economic Institute and the Center for Prosperity and Productivity at HEC-Montreal and as a course lecturer for the Institute of Applied Economics at HEC-Montreal.
His research interests include the measurement of living standards and economic growth in Canada prior to the Conquest of Canada by the British in 1760. He has also published a book on the economic history of Quebec (in French) titled Du Grand Rattrapage au Déclin Tranquille: Une histoire économique et sociale du Québec de 1900 à nos jours.
