Community Partners

The Fraternity and Sorority Life community could not achieve success without the support of local businesses and community partners. Please use the information below to approach organizations in the most appropriate way.

Emailing Chapters

To protect the privacy of our organization officers, we do not provide direct contact information for any of our student leaders. If you would like to communicate with the community online or via email, please send a 3-4 sentence blurb about the event, promotion or opportunity to fsl@ttu.edu or the appropriate council advisor.

If the messaging is relevant and space permits the opportunity will be shared in bi-weekly meetings, weekly emails or on our social media accounts.

Making Announcements at Chapter Meetings

Fraternities and sororities meet on a weekly basis throughout the academic year. In order to control the length and focus of these meetings we request that community partners provide all announcements at individual council's delegate meetings. These meetings typically take place bi-weekly and have representation from each of the organizations. Please check our Community Calendar to identify which meeting you would like to request to attend as a Visitor. Visitors receive 2-3 minutes to make an announcement and are welcome to leave additional handouts for follow up. All visitors must have an appointment. Request an appointment to speak at a council meeting.

Greek Circle Solicitation

Some of our fraternities and sororities maintain facilities on Greek Circle (15th & Indiana). Flyiering and solicitation is prohibited without the approval of the Fraternity & Sorority Life Staff. If you would like to distribute fliers to our chapters, please provide the appropriate number of copies (one per chapter) to the Center for Campus Life 3 weeks prior to distribution.

We do not communicate with chapters or offer announcements at meetings from May 1st- September 1st.

If you would like to mail to individual chapters, click here for addresses.

Reporting Concerns

Concerned about the safety, behavior or activities of a fraternity or sorority at Texas Tech? Please visit our website concerning Organization Conduct and fill out a Misconduct Report Form OR feel free to reach out directly to any member of our staff. Please remember to gather and document as much information as possible. The more information we have the better we are able to follow up and address your concern.
