Morgan Allen
Major: Psychology
Morgan Allen is a senior Psychology major with a Women's & Gender Studies minor. Morgan transferred to Texas Tech in 2015 after spending her first semester at New York University. Currently, Morgan is involved in Women's Leadership Initiative and Black Student Association. In her free time, Morgan likes to take care of her fish, and read with her little brother.
Madison Rattan
Major: Biochemistry
Madison, a native Lubbockite, is a junior in the Honors College majoring in Biochemistry with minors in Math, Engineering, and Biology. She plans to attend medical school after graduation. Madison works as a contest coordinator for the Caprock Color Guard Circuit and volunteers at Wilshire Assisted Living. In her spare time, she volunteers with the handbell choir at a local church and is an avid reader.
Taryn Rayburn
Major: Psychology
Taryn is currently a Senior Psychology Major and Public Relations minor at Tech. Along with being a member of The Women's Leadership Initiative she is the service chair for the Gamma Beta Phi Honors society and the event planner for the Texas Tech Feminist Majority Leadership Alliance. Taryn also works as a research assistant in the Social Identity Theory and Health Lab under the psychology department. After her undergrad she is planning on going to law school and later getting a PhD in Psychology.
Emily Massey
Major: Marketing
Minor: Drawing, Studio Art
Emily is a Junior Honors college student with a major in Marketing and a minor in Drawing, Studio Art. She is currently working as an Illustrator and Cartoonist for the Daily Toreador, as well as a volunteer artist for a TTU S.H.A.R.C Lab research project. As an artist, Emily enjoys observing the world through different lenses, and loves to engage in diverse portraiture. She plans to use her unique skills and perspectives to take on a career in the evolving creative media industry.
Julianne Butcher
Major: Graphic Design
Julie is a member of the Association of Graphic Artists here at Texas Tech and also a valued designer at Landtroop Strategies. In her free time, Julie likes to paint, read, and take care of her cats.
Alexandra Valenstein
Major: Finance
Minor: Mathematics
Alexandra (Alex) is a Finance major, Mathematics minor, coming to Texas Tech from Laguna Hills, California. She will be graduating Cum Laude by December 2019. Alex is an active participant in the Rawls Business Leadership program, networking and learning from business leaders and peers alike. In summer 2018, she will gain critical experience in understanding capital markets, equity analysis and client wealth management as an intern at Beacon Pointe Advisors in Newport Beach, CA. After graduation, she looks forward to working in the field of investment banking and wealth management, before pursuing a graduate degree in business and finance. Previously, Alex held the Vice President position in National Charity League and worked closely with the American Heart Association, researching the link between heart disease and nutrition. Outside her academic/professional interests, Alex is a member of the Big 12 Champion Texas Tech Women's Tennis team, helping to lead TTU tennis to top 10 national rankings the last 3 years.
Sheela Sharma
Major: Mechanical Engineering
Minors: Physics and Mathematics
Sheela is a senior from Allen, TX pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering while minoring in both Physics and Math. She is hoping to pursue a masters and possibly a PhD in mechanical engineering after completing her degree in December 2019. Sheela spends her time working with FTC Robotics, helping high school students interested in the STEM field. Outside of school and work, she is an avid reader and loves to find time to lose herself in a book.
Lauren McKenzie
Major: Multidisciplinary Studies – Emphasis in Special Education
Lauren is a junior multidisciplinary studies major with an emphasis in special education from Montgomery, Texas. She serves as a College of Education Senator for the Student Government Association as well as serving as Vice President of Member Education for Delta Gamma Fraternity. Lauren is also a member of the Texas Tech Equestrian Team and enjoys volunteering at the Burkhart center for Autism Research. After graduating she hopes to pursue graduate degrees in education policy.

Cameron is a Freshman Psychology major from Austin, Texas. She is also a Member of
the Feminist Majority Leadership Alliance, Gender & Sexuality Association (member
of the fundraising committee), and a Member of the Psychology Club.
Rylee Hamlin
Major: Chemical Engineering
Rylee is a sophomore from Flower Mound, TX studying chemical engineering . She is currently a member of the Society of Women Engineers and the American Institute of Chemical Engineers. She enjoys reading and volunteering in her spare time.
