Texas, Boundary
This layer contains the boundary of Texas with a highly detailed coastline. This polygon file was designed for medium to large scale thematic mapping and analysis.
The spatial data originated from the USDA Fish and Wildlife Services and were processed by the Texas Tech Center for Geospatial Technology. This layer was created by performing multiple geoprocessing procedures to transfer the highly detailed coastline from the USDA Ecological Sections layer to the US Census Bureau TIGER Jurisdictional Texas boundary. Attributes were modified to include only name, abbreviation, region, and FIPS code information. The coordinate system of this data is WGS 1984.
