Summary 

This layer contains the congressional districts in Texas. This polygon file was specifically designed for small to medium scale thematic mapping and analysis.

Description 

            

              

                

                  

                    The spatial data were obtained from the US Census Bureau and are current as of 2012. The layer originates from the 1:500,000 TIGER nationwide congressional districts dataset. The Attributes were modified to include only name, session, area, and FIPS code information. The coordinate system of this data is WGS 1984.
