Summary 

This layer contains the locations of airports in Texas. This polygon file was specifically designed for medium to large scale thematic mapping and analysis.

                    The spatial data were obtained from the Texas Natural Resource Information System (TNRIS) and are current as of 2002. The airport data was collected by the Federal Aviation Administration and published by the Texas Department of Transportation. The attributes were modified to include name, airport ID, and jurisdiction
