Summary 

This layer contains most public roads in Texas. This line file was specifically designed for large scale thematic mapping and analysis.

Description 

            

              

                The spatial data were obtained from Open Street map and are current as of 2014. 
                It is important to note that due to the high level of detail, this file is not meant to be used as a statewide dataset. The road layer is not clipped to the state boundary and thus has dangels around the boundary.
                 The attributes were modified to include name, reference, type, operational information, and identification information.
