Summary 

This layer contains the locations of airports in the United States. This point file is intended for multi-scale thematic mapping and analysis.

Description 

            

              

                

                  

                    The spatial data were obtained from OpenFlight and are current as of 2012. The US airport data originated from the OF Worldwide airport dataset and were exported using the Select by Attribute tool. The attributes were modified to include AirportID, Name, City, County, IATA/FAA code, ICAO code, Latitude, Longitude, Altitude, Timezone, and a Daylight Savings Time designation. The coordinate system of this data is WGS 1984.
