Summary 

This layer contains primary roads in the US. This line file is intended for medium scale thematic mapping and analysis.

Description 

            

              

                

                  

                    The spatial data were obtained from the National Atlas of the United States and are current as of 2013. This file contains major roads and fairy crossings in the US, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands. The attributes were modified to include name(s), type, road numbers, qualifier, Fcode, state FIPS and state abbreviation. The coordinate system of this data is WGS 1984.
