Texas Tech University

Course Internationalization - Faculty Training

TTU Administration Building

Teaching without Borders

The 2022/23 program will provide an opportunity to think more deliberately about how to integrate current global challenges into subject specific course material whether it be how to build intercultural competency to work effectively with people from other parts of the world and/or how knowledge of global migration challenges can aid in immigration challenges in Texas. The goal is to make us better educators and inspire students to engage in global challenges. The training will be open by application to tenure or tenure-track teaching faculty, professors of practice and instructors.

In the second year of this peer-mentoring program, we will continue to build and connect a community of faculty who understand that the future's complex challenges require collaboration beyond geographical borders and explore how to bring such challenges into focus in the classroom.
