Sarah is a Lubbock native who enjoys assisting and watching Honors students realize their academic and personal potential, beginning with their participation in the First-Year Experience Program, which she directs. She also coordinates the Honors Book Club, where students meet to read for enjoyment and discuss readings in an informal setting. She earned her undergraduate degree at Tech in English Literature in 2003, and completed her graduate degree in Interdisciplinary sciences in 2021. Sarah enjoys reading British classics and mysteries, studying wine and the wine regions of the world, and spending time with her family, who include husband Nathan, and children Adam and Ellie.
