Zachary Rocha is the Coordinator of Marketing & Communications for the Honors College
and joined the staff of the Honors College in 2020. His responsibilities include advertising,
marketing, social media, email/print/television/digital/experiential campaigns for
the college, as well as any IT related issues for faculty/staff in the college.
After being an Honors student as an undergrad, he graduated in May 2018 with Honors; he received his Bachelor of Arts for Advertising, as well as his Bachelor of Arts for Electronic Media & Communications. Zachary was very involved with the Honors College before returning full-time in 2020. He participated in Undergraduate Research Scholars, studied abroad in Italy during the Summer of 2016 with Dr. Aliza Wong, was the founding Public Relations Chair for Eta Omicron Nu (HON), Vice President of the Tech Advertising Federation (TAF), & an integral part of the BULLET Advertising team for three years.
Zachary received many accolades on the university-level, as well as from the advertising industry. He traveled cross-country for internships in Atlanta, GA and New York, NY with the Multicultural Advertising Internship Program (MAIP) in 2017 and 2018, respectively. Zachary also holds numerous Gold and Silver Addy's awarded by the Lubbock Advertising Federation for individual campaigns, as well as for his integrated campaigns with BULLET Advertising.
Zachary enjoys photography, videography, graphic design, and spending time with his pet husky, Chloe.
