EVENT: The College of Human Sciences is dedicated to improving and enhancing the human condition. To further serve this mission, the College has created an obstacle course event to aid the TTU scholarship fund for students impacted by Hurricane Harvey. More than 5,000 students and countless alumni and friends have been impacted by Hurricane Harvey. For these students, Harvey has damaged homes and devastated lives. For others serving in the National Guard and in medical residencies, their lives will be disrupted as they respond to the call to serve others. These effects will be felt for months to come. Hand Up for Harvey is a way to fundraise for the Texas Tech Hurricane Harvey Scholarship Relief Fund, and involve the Lubbock and Red Raider community in helping a few of their own.
