December 2016 DOD alumna lends her hand for the COHS Holiday Card

Learn more about Daniela Macias, a December Interior Design graduate, who drafted the sketch of the College of Human Sciences building for the college's Holiday Card.

Daniela Macias graduated with two majors in Interior Design and French. Daniela is from the great city of El Paso, Texas, where she says that her passion for interior design first took root. During her time at Texas Tech and in the College of Human Sciences Daniela says that her education has fostered that passion for design.

Outside of the classroom, Daniela is active in her role as a College of Human Sciences Ambassador as well as her student assistant position in Human Sciences, just to name a few. After graduation, Daniela intends to pursue graduate studies in French Literature at Texas Tech. When asked how it felt to be asked to help create the holiday card, Daniela says that it made her a little nostalgic.

"I am humbled to have been chosen to complete this task, and I can't wait to see the finished product!"
