VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: AEGIS STUDY

We are looking for healthy adult men and women at least 18 years of age with or without documented prior infection with COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2).

Study Purpose

The purpose of this study to assess the incidence of infection or re-infection among those without and with prior COVID infection and to evaluate biological as well as behavioral correlates of infection/reinfection and severity of infection.

Study Participation

Participation lasts approximately 12 months and will include up to 7 visits to the clinic. Visits will be scheduled at approximately 8-week intervals.

The results from this investigation should provide some insights into how our bodies' natural immunity to the infection is affected.

The total possible compensation is $375

Key Requirements

The following list will help determine if the AEGIS Study may be a good fit for you:

• 18 years or older
• In general good health
• Proof of prior COVID infection OR no prior COVID infection, with elevated risk to become infected
• Living in the area for at least the next 12 months.
