The University of Missouri (MU) Center for Economic and Financial Education partners with related academic programs at MU to serve students, financial and helping professionals, and communities. The Center's applied work involves delivering research-based education and support that connects personal finance to health, educational access, and economic development.
The University of Missouri (MU), fondly referred to as Mizzou, was founded in 1839 in Columbia as the first public university west of the Mississippi River. Today, with an enrollment of more than 30,000 students, Mizzou has more than 300 degree programs, and is one of only six public universities nationwide that can claim a medical school, veterinary medicine college, and law school on the same campus.
