There is a new way to contact Human Sciences Technology Services. If you have a support issue, you can now e-mail hs.techservices@ttu.edu with a description of your issue. Also, a record of you support request is stored and a history of your support issues can be recalled at any time and can aid in future support issues. We invite you to try out our new helpdesk system, going forward this is the preferred way to request support from us. For urgent issues, like classroom issues, it´s still best to call 806-742-4185.

Wireless Routers

This is an important reminder, that users must not install network hardware, network software, re-transmit network services, or extend the TTU network in any way. Recently, we have found several home router type devices connected to our network in the College of Human Sciences. One of the devices was causing network interruptions. We tracked down the network devices and removed them from the network before any wide spread network issues could occur. If you have any questions about the Texas Tech policy regarding network devices, please e-mail Kory Ellis at kory.ellis@ttu.edu.

Digital Signage

We have redesigned the layout of our digital signs. The new layout can now support a viewable area of 22 inches wide and 11.5 inches high. You may send us content for posting to the digital signs in several different formats including PowerPoint, PDF, or any image format. For more details regarding the Human Sciences digital signs, please e-mail john.martinez@ttu.edu.
