United Future Leaders

Community Partners and Donors

The United Future Leaders (UFL) program, and the 10-Session Leadership Curriculum for Adolescents, would not be possible without the continued support of our community partners. We would like to thank our corporate sponsor, United Supermarkets, for funding United Future Leaders since its inception in 2007. The J.T. and Margaret Talkington Charitable Foundation provides additional funding, which greatly contributes to the sustainability and growth of UFL. We are fortunate for the many private donors and organizations that contribute funding and resources to the program, sharing the belief in our mission to develop young leaders in the community.

UFL receives a great amount of support from our academic college at Texas Tech University, the College of Human Sciences (COHS). It is an honor to work with the Center for Adolescent Resiliency, whose dedication to enriching the lives of youth and permission to dream big allows the program to expand its footprint and "take UFL out to the world". UFL appreciates the Texas Tech University faculty, staff, undergraduate and graduate students, who are an integral part of the team and contribute to the overall success and growth of the program.

In addition, UFL would like to thank the numerous school administrators, faculty, and staff, as well as parents and students, for their continued enthusiasm and desire to promote leadership among youth in Lubbock and the surrounding areas. Your passion for education and commitment to serving your children is the reason UFL experiences success.
