Recent events have demonstrated the increasing danger posed by nation-state adversaries and their proxies, transnational criminal organizations, and cyber criminals to U.S. critical infrastructure. There is a need for a highly secure national resource that can serve as a rallying point for the contributions of industry, the intelligence community, and universities.

ICIS is establishing a national academic/industry/government consortium that applies real infrastructure design, threat intelligence, cyber analytics, and research capacity to the discovery and remediation of critical infrastructure vulnerability. ICIS develops strategies to protect critical infrastructure among DHS CISA's 16 critical sectors from both domestic and nation-state threats, resulting in a stronger, more resilient national infrastructure.
