Dr. Tan Fellowship

We're thrilled to announce that Dr. George Zhuo Tan, Assistant Professor here at the Department of Industrial, Manufacturing & Systems Engineering, has been awarded the Ed and Linda Whitacre Faculty Fellowship by the Edward E. Whitacre Jr. College of Engineering!

This prestigious fellowship is awarded in recognition of Dr. Tan's research excellence. The award recognizes how he has distinguished himself through his exceptional work in biomaterials design and electrospinning, which has been widely recognized by the research community. He has published an impressive 34 journal articles to date and has also achieved great success in securing external funding, including the prestigious CAREER Award from the National Science Foundation.

 

By receiving the Ed and Linda Whitacre Faculty Fellowship, Dr. Tan is helping to strengthen the TTU Whitacre College of Engineering's Community of Scholars. We are honored to have him as part of our community and grateful for the recognition he brings to our university.
