Fifteenth annual juried photo exhibit “High and Dry”

High and Dry XV: From Nov. 24, 2015 – January 14, 2016

A photographic exhibition of peoples & places of the world's dry lands: On exhibit November 24, 2015 through January 14, 2016

Juror: Miguel Gandert, Albuquerque, NM

Now in its fifteenth year, this juried exhibition attracts images by photographers from across the U.S. This year's exhibit consists of seventy-four images by sixty-two photographers, all of whom were asked to respond to some aspect of life in an arid or a semiarid region. Subjects range from sand dunes in the Sahara Desert to ghost towns in Terlingua, Texas. It is our hope that these images will not only prompt aesthetic appreciation but also elicit reflection upon the realities of life on our increasingly thirsty planet
