His engagement with Ethiopia and its build environment continues as a co-principal in a British Council funded project involving a multidisciplinary team of TTU faculty and consortium of Ethiopian universities working together to develop graduate programs in Engineering. ‘The Colors of Harar' is a commentary on an emerging tradition in an ancient Islamic walled town in Eastern Ethiopia. The photographs are from a 2017 visit to Ethiopia in conjunction with this sponsored project, and TTU faculty development leave.
