Texas Tech University

The Office of International Affairs at Texas Tech University is now accepting work for the “Monuments of the World: 11 X 14 Works on Paper” art exhibition to be displayed in the International Cultural Center galleries on the Texas Tech University campus. Submission deadline for entries is April 14, 2021.

Subject Matter

For thousands of years monuments have been symbols of both ancient and modern cultures. They can be world-renowned structures such as the Acropolis and the Sydney Opera House, or local monuments that are meaningful to a smaller region or town. Some examples of monuments include statues, memorials, historical buildings, natural landmarks, or other cultural symbols.

There is no entry fee. Up to four entries can be submitted. We hope to display the greatest number of art pieces as possible.

Eligibility

The exhibition is open to all artists 18 years and older. Artwork submitted must not have been previously exhibited in Lubbock in the past calendar year. Entrants warrant that they have the copyright to all submitted work.
