Weihnachtsfest

 

Join us for Weihnachtsfest, as we partner with the National Ranching Heritage Center to host a pre-candlelight party on Friday, December 9th from 6:00 -7:30 PM

German Christmas traditions will include the Tuba-Euphonium Ensemble of the Texas Tech School of Music, crafts, gingerbread cookies and sausage!

With many of its traditions influencing the modern North American iteration of Christmas, Weihnachtsfest is a Winter celebration throughout German-speaking Europe.

During our family-friendly celebration of Weihnachtsfest, children and adults can create a handmade Christmas tree snowflake and decorate gingerbread cookies. Entering the celebration, our guests will be immersed in an authentic German market with smells of pine trees, freshly grilled bratwurst, and homemade hot apple cider. Music will be provided by the TTU Tuba-Euphonium Ensemble and will include traditional German Christmas music.
