Join our three distinguished guests, founding members of the Costa Rica Fulbright Association, President Guillermo Barquero Chacon, and board members Evelyn and Hellen Aguilar-Murillo to explore and discuss Fulbright opportunities, and benefits of Fulbright research diverse awards for students and scholars at Texas Tech.

Guillermo Barquero Chacon

Guillermo is a Fulbrighter and a Political Scientist from the University of Costa Rica. He is a well-known international political analyst who has written for many years about different political and international Latin American issues and has a vast experience on international education and intercultural events worldwide.

Evelyn and Hellen Aguilar-Murillo

Evelyn and Hellen, Fulbrighters and twin sisters, are co-owners of Grupo Idiomatica de San Jose, a Costa Rican based language company founded in 1992. They are creative, communicative, multilingual and skilled linguists (Spanish, English, Portuguese) with more than 25 years of teaching/translating experience at multinational companies, international and local NGOs, universities and serving as cultural and multilingual advisors to U.S. Ambassadors in Costa Rica.
