About ICASALS

ICASALS is a component of the Office of International Affairs (OIA) at Texas Tech University.

ICASALS aims to stimulate and coordinate research on the structure and functioning of arid and semi-arid lands, on the development of technologies for the conservation and sustainable use of ecological systems, the transfer and dissemination of knowledge, the training of human resources, and teaching. ICASALS provides a means by which Texas Tech University is able to make global contributions.
