Conservation and Service-Learning in Ethiopia

Ethiopia is a diverse country, located in the Horn of Africa and steeped in thousands of years of culture. It is one of the poorest nations in the world, and one of the fastest-developing. We will explore the seats of several Ethiopian empires and see how human activities have impacted the landscape - and continue to do so. We will emphasize current management practices, the economic realities that drive them, and the impacts to organisms and the landscape.
