International Hospitality & Retailing in the UK

Students will fly to London, England, where they will begin the trip with an excursion to the London Eye to see the city. A day trip on a bus to Oxfordshire where students will visit Blenheim Palace, the ancestral home of Sir. Winston Churchill. In London we will meet with major UK retailers, a before opening tour of Harrod's Department Store, Hamley's Toy Store, Liberty's Department store, and retailers on Oxford Street. Students will also tour Fortnum and Mason and enjoy afternoon tea and tour Fuller's Distillery in London. Tourism activities include the London Eye, a river cruise on the River Thames, Victoria and Albert Museum, the Tower of London, a guided tour of Westminster Abbey and a castle tour (either Windsor and Hampton Court Palace). The hotel, Kensington Thistle overlooks Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park has free Wi-Fi and is near two tube stops, Bayswater, District (green) and Circle (yellow) lines and Queensway Central (Red) line for easy access within the city.
