Notes:
Fall (Winter): 1 October – end of February
Tuition and fees is for 12 credit hours of Engineering courses.
Program fee includes accommodation of 300-350 Euros per month, the semester contribution and semester ticket, and German health insurace. The semester contribution is NOT a tuition fee. It must be paid by all students and includes contributions to the Students' Union and the Students' Welfare Fund. Most importantly for this money you get a semester ticket which allows you unlimited travel on Hamburg's public transport system for the whole semester. Students from outside the EU are required to register for German health insurance. This costs approx. €105 per month and is mandatory for enrolment at a German university. Students can register before they get to Hamburg as part of the online application process. The process will be completed once you get to Hamburg. It is German law that the health insurance must be paid for the full semester (March–Aug.), even if you are not there for the entire time. The university unfortunately cannot influence this.

Living costs of 400-600 Euros per month.
Students must obtain a German "student visa" of  €110. The German government requires proof of sufficient funds of 850 EURO per month.
