The above estimate is for semester of Spring 2023 from January 27 - May 9. Students take four classes that come back as 12 hours of TTU Credit.

The total cost, tuition and program fee, includes onsite orientation, tuition and research fees, housing at the field station and on excursions, daily meals and snacks, airport transfers for arrival and departure, visa fees, field excursions and cultural activities, student success and wellness team onsite, 24/7 mental health and well-being support, emergency evacuation and repatriation insurance, and official transcript processing. 

U.S. passport holders may enter Turks and Caicos on a tourist visa, which will be obtained at the airport when a student arrives on-site. Students will then extend their tourist visa with the assistance of SFS staff.

Personal expenses includes optional open water scuba certification & gear [$2,000], optional advanced open water scuba certification [$250], spending money [$700], mid semester break [$650], and inoculations/medications which greatly depend on the individual student [$800]
