Rolling blackouts

The Texas Tech campus in Lubbock may experience intermittent rolling blackouts on Tuesday, February 16, 2021, due to the ongoing winter weather and its effect on statewide energy consumption. These rolling blackouts would be limited to 15 to 45 minutes at a time. The university is doing everything possible to minimize the impact on student housing and other essential facilities on campus.
