About KSM

The Department of Kinesiology & Sport Management proudly offers undergraduate majors in Kinesiology & in Sport Management along with minors in Kinesiology, Sport Management, Athletic Coaching, Health, Public Health, and Sports Medicine. We offer master's degree programs in Sport Management and in Kinesiology with specializations in exercise physiology, human performance, and motor behavior/exercise and sport psychology. We offer Phd in exercise physiology.

Our students study under the guidance and mentoring of an excellent faculty who have earned doctorates in a wide array of disciplinary areas. Twenty-Three faculty teach graduate courses and guide research projects leading to theses, dissertations, and internships. A total of (29 full-time and 2 part-time) faculty teach over 1800 majors and hundreds of other students completing one of our six minors.

Our faculty teach classes in 6 technologically equipped classrooms and conduct research in 14 laboratories. Our faculty mentor students in their offices, with all of these facilities located in our department's dedicated building. Master's degree students teach personal fitness and wellness classes in the Student Recreation Center. Ph.D. students teach exercise physiology labs and undergraduate Kinesiology Courses.
