The Student Bar Association (SBA) functions as the student government for Texas Tech
Law. Peer-elected student officers act as the unified voice of the student body, to
advance academic excellence, to promote mental wellness, and to support every student's
journey in acquiring a quality legal education.
In 2017, SBA adopted Resolution 50.01. This resolution expresses SBA's "support for the importance and respect of diversity
at Texas Tech University School of Law."
The Division of Institutional Diversity, Equity & Community Engagement is committed
to student success by preparing learners to be ethical leaders for a diverse and globally
competitive workforce. In support of the university's priorities, we strive to create
collaborative partnerships among Texas Tech faculty and staff, community organizations,
and students through programs, activities and events that develop students' professional
skills, individual creativity, personal excellence and social awareness.
