The Texas Tech Office of LGBTQIA Education & Engagement (Office) supports faculty, staff, and graduate students who identify with or support the LGBTQIA Community through the LGBTQIA Faculty, Staff, and Graduate Student Association (FSGSA) and the affinity group, Q'nnections.

Established in 2018, the LGBTQIA FSGSA provides faculty, staff and graduate students opportunities for networking, social interaction, and advocacy on issues important to the LGBTQIA community.

Q'nnections: A Group for LGBTQIA & Allied Emerging Professionals is an affinity group that was formed in 2021 under the auspice of the FSGSA. This group is open to faculty, staff, administrators, and graduate students who either identify within the LGBTQIA community or as allies, and who have 5 years of experience or less in the field. The purpose of Q'nnections is to establish a place to hold brave and open conversations and to find a sense of belonging.
